What we did
G.E.E. delivered a combined multi-technology renewable heating and generation project, integrating an ASHP, biomass boiler and solar PV array into a single coordinated system. Works also included heat emitter upgrades, fabric improvements, plant room modifications, trenching and electrical upgrades, coordinated carefully around school access requirements.

- 62.5 kW split-system Air Source Heat Pump
- 40 kW Biomass Boiler (backup/top-up)
- 29.75 kWp Solar PV system
- Heat emitter upgrades and plant room modifications
- Ceiling insulation, window sealing, trenching and electrical works
Key challenges and programme management
- Integration of three renewable technologies into a single sequenced heating and generation system
- Full emitter assessment and upgrades to suit ASHP operating temperatures
