England & Wales
Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS)
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme provides government grants to support the installation of low-carbon heating systems, including air source and ground source heat pumps.
- Grants of up to £7,500
- Available for domestic and small non-domestic properties
- Applications are installer-led through MCS-certified contractors

Scotland
Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan

Northern Ireland
Energy Efficiency Support Schemes
There is currently no direct equivalent to the Boiler Upgrade Scheme in Northern Ireland. However, a number of support schemes are available depending on eligibility.
- Affordable Warmth Scheme for qualifying households
- Energy efficiency improvements and heating upgrades
- Additional schemes may be available through local authorities and energy suppliers

Republic of Ireland (Residential)
SEAI Home Energy Grants
The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) provides grants for residential energy upgrades, including heat pumps, solar PV and insulation.
- Heat pump grants of up to €12,500 (subject to property type and eligibility)
- Solar PV and insulation grants available
- One Stop Shop retrofit pathway also available

Republic of Ireland (Commercial)
SEAI Business & Public Sector Supports
SEAI provides a range of supports for businesses investing in energy efficiency and low-carbon technologies.

- Support available for feasibility, design and capital investment stages
